Case, dial, hands, hardware, leather grain and stitching are examined under magnification against factory references. Serial and reference numbers are matched to their production windows.
Step 02
Movement & Materials
Watch case-backs are opened by our watchmakers to verify caliber, engravings, jewels and finishing. For leather goods, blind-stamps, hardware weight, lining and construction are cross-checked against archives.
Step 03
Documentation & Provenance
Original papers, warranty cards, receipts, service history and prior sale records are matched to serial numbers and confirmed with the maison where possible.
Step 04
Final Certification
The piece is photographed as-received and issued a signed Dolce Vita Certificate of Authenticity, a condition report, and — where relevant — a full-set inventory.
